Hi. I have to send control commands to the IR light source evaluation kit of ICx Photonics via Labview 9.0. So I tried the example VI Basic Seri.

I have a Sony HS20 projector which I d like to control via girder. The projector has a mini-USB port for controlling it. How do I connect this to my computer and.

Sending commands to a Tera Term via script file

I am using VB 2005 and trying to send mutliple AT commands to a serial device. I need to wait for a response from the unit and possibly do something with the response.

Serial port send data command line software: Serial Port To Text Messaging Server, Test and troubleshoot serial port connection, Redirect serial port data to/from.

Don t use Tera Term for that. It is not made for scripting, but rather for interactive use. Try to get a command line serial terminal emulator.

If you are on Linux you can use screen or there like.

Replace COM1 with the name of your serial interface

Make sure you don t have your Tera Term open while you use the echo-command, otherwise you ll get Access Denied.
